Every artist dips his brush in his own soul…

One of the pleasures of a shared studio space is arriving, making a cup of tea and wandering the studio spaces to check on everyone’s work in progress and new work before settling down to your own work. Everyone’s space is sacred so you don’t nosy, just look but it’s inspiring and a thrill to see work moving on.

But one day I saw this in Trevor Bayly‘s space – his paintbrushes beautifully clean and looked after. So I thought I would take a look at how others including myself looked….
